Grant, through your Son, Jesus Christ, who became man for us, and through the Holy Spirit, who is the messenger of your love to us, that every family on Earth may become a sanctuary of love and life for each future generation, for only you are the true Love and Life. Grant that your grace may accompany the thoughts, words, and actions of every husband and wife for the good of their family and families worldwide. Grant that young people may find in the family a firm support for their human dignity and for growth in truth and love. Grant that love, strengthened by the grace of the sacrament of marriage, may prove stronger than all the weaknesses and trials that families sometimes have to endure. Through the intercession of the Holy Family, grant that the world mission of our mother Church in the family and through the family may bear its fruit. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, forever and ever.
